Okay see these things have scared the shit out of me ever since some of my classmates used ones of the Queen for an in-class performance of a scene in The Duchess of Malfi in which the Duchess is tormented by inmates of a prison/insane asylum thing.
They turned out the lights and made scary noises and jumped on peoples’ desks. It was great but unexpectedly terrifying.
I must say, the Old Vic production really didn’t compare.
